Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temp Mate for a 40m+ Motor Yacht
*This role is to cover medical leave- around 4-6 weeks.*
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deck operations, leadership skills, and the ability to assist the Captain in daily yacht management.
This is a hands-on role, requiring excellent tender driving skills, maintenance knowledge, and the ability to lead a deck team effectively.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- OOW & AEC1 in hand
- All relevant certificates in date
- Strong on deck with great leadership skills to lead the team of 2 deckhands
- Maintaining the yacht to a high standard
- Confident in admin and bridge as needed
- Great communication skills between all departments to ensure smooth operations
- Ready to hit the ground running with trips booked and boat shows
- Schengen Visa
Start date: 24 August
Duration: 4-6 weeks approx
Location: Italy
Salary: EUR 6.5-7K DOE
Vessel & itinerary- Private/Charter motor yacht cruising the Med
