CAPTAIN – TEMPORARY

Burgess Recruitment is looking for a Temp Captain for a 34m Motor Yacht | Private

Start Date: 2 February 2026
End Date: 8 February 2026
Salary: Day rate fair and competitive (TBC)

Leave: Temporary contract (1 week)

Qualifications:

• Master 500GT 

• Valid STCW

• ENG1 or equivalent medical

• Valid US B1/B2 or right to work in the USA

Requirements:

• Previous Captain experience on similar-sized yachts

• Confident operating a brand-new vessel

• Strong guest-focused mindset

• Available at short notice

• US-based or able to join in Miami

Other:

• Joining in Miami

• Vessel alongside until 6 February, followed by a weekend trip to the Bahamas
