Burgess recruitment are seeking a Cook/Steward(ess) to join a 27m Private M.Y
We are seeking a professional and self-sufficient Cook/Stewardess for a 27m motor yacht, operating as a private program for a warm and welcoming family. This role requires someone with proven yacht experience and a passion for delivering healthy, flavourful meals alongside high-standard interior service. The position can be either seasonal or permanent, depending on candidate availability and fit.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 full seasons of experience in a similar Cook/Stew position

STCW, ENG1, Food & Hygiene Level II (all valid and in date)

EU passport or valid Schengen visa

Strong culinary ability with a focus on fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients

Confident in provisioning and planning menus independently

Interior responsibilities include housekeeping, guest service, laundry, and turndowns

Ability to manage own schedule and responsibilities with minimal supervision

Positive, mature, and energetic with a high level of professionalism
Role Details:

Cooking for up to 8 guests: light, family-style meals, primarily breakfast, nibbles, and occasional lunches

Supporting interior when needed, especially during guest-heavy periods

Working closely with the Captain and Deck/Stew to ensure smooth operations

Yacht is based in Port Vauban, Antibes, with regular cruising to Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, and the Amalfi Coast
Location: Antibes, France
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Seasonal (until end of October) or Permanent
Salary: €4,000/month
Leave: 40 days/year
