Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a Sous Chef for a 70m dual-season private/charter motor yacht.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering varied, high-quality cuisine for up to 12 guests and 19 crew, while maintaining excellent hygiene and galley standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef with a great attitude who is eager to build their career in yachting.
Requirements
- Culinary training and/or professional cooking courses
- Food Safety Level 2
- Ship’s Cook Certificate (advantageous)
- Experience in high-end restaurants
- Positive, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
- B1/B2 visa ; Schengen visa
Start: Early October
Salary: 5000 EUR DOE
Leave: 42 days per year
Itinerary: Malta-based; dual season with Caribbean winters
