Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Sous Chef for a 80m new build motor yacht
Requirements:
Culinary trained with a ships cook certificate
Food hygiene level 2
Minimum 2 years yachting experience on similar sized yachts
Minimum 3 years experience in high class restaurants
Proficiency in a variety of culinary styles
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Able to take direction well and work collaboratively
Job description:
Assist the Head Chef in all operations, ensuring high standards of food safety, health and hygiene.
Prepare high quality, varied meals for the crew
Execute diverse requirements and preferences
Manage inventory and provisioning efficiently
Maintain a positive, drama free, non-smoking environment
Start date: Beginning of November
Location: MED
Salary: USD 5000, & shared tip with rotational partner
Leave: 8:8 rotation
