Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Sole Chef to join a 40m+ Private/Charter motor yacht
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Sole Chef to join a healthy, positive and professional crew.
Responsibilities
· Prepare daily meals with a focus on healthy, family style meals
· Manage inventory, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and fresh.
· Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring cleanliness in the galley.
· Plan and prepare meals according to preferences and dietary requirements.
Requirements
· Proven experience in a similar role
· Valid F&HL2 STCW, ENG1, and other relevant certifications.
· A strong understanding of yacht kitchen operations and handling large quantities of food.
· Ability to work efficiently and independently, maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt to varying schedules.
· SCHENGEN visa or equivalent and B1/B2 preferred
. Culinary trained and Ships cook certificate

Location: Italy
Salary: 6500 Euro
Leave: 60 days
Vessel Program and itinerary: Med cruising before heading to the US
