Burgess recruitment is urgently seeking a temporary Mate for a 40m motor yacht.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mate to join a private yacht.
Requirements
- Master 200gt essential
- Experience on 40m+ motor yachts, ideally private or mixed-use
- Strong operational First Mate required to step into a busy summer programme
- Confident in passage planning, bridge watchkeeping, and Mediterranean port operations
- Proven high deck and exterior standards
- Hands-on with PMS and SMS implementation
- Strong tender driver with proven guest interaction experience
- Comfortable in a structured and detail-focused management environment
- Positive, proactive attitude with good crew leadership presence
- Must be available immediately, and be able to integrate quickly into existing team
- Schengen Visa required
Start date: Immediate
End date: End of season
Location: Italy
Salary: EUR 6000
Leave: 60 days
