Requirements:
- Previous experience as First Mate or strong Bosun on 40m+ yachts
- Strong navigation and bridge management skills
- Confident assisting with all deck operations and crew leadership
- Capable of running the vessel in the Captain’s absence
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Professional and positive attitude within a private family environment
Other:
This is a private yacht programme operating primarily in the Caribbean. The First Mate will work closely with the Captain and owner to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
The owner places strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability, and is looking for a highly capable First Mate who can confidently take responsibility for the vessel when required.
