Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Lead Deckhand for an 100m+ Private motor yacht
We are looking for a hardworking, motivated individual with previous experience on similar-sized vessels in a leadership role.
Requirements
- Valid STCW & ENG1
- PBL2
- 3+ years previous experience in the deck department on 80m+ yachts
Job description
- Supporting the deck team and assisting with crew leadership.
- Collaborating closely with other deckhands and ensuring teamwork in daily deck operations, including docking & mooring.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure the vessel is in top condition.
- Work closely with the rest of the crew to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.
- Strong proficiency in deck operations, (tenders, and water toys etc)
- Good understanding of yacht operations, safety systems, and onboard protocols
- High level of professionalism and discretion in a UHNW environment
Start date: ASAP
Location: Europe
Salary: 4000 EUR
Leave: 90 days
Vessel Program and itinerary: Private - Dual season (Med summer)
