Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Head of Service for a 150m+ new build
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and well-versed Head of Service to step into the role of overseeing service delivery, guest experience & training junior crew while maintaining impeccable standards.
Requirements:
- Proven similar experience on large yachts/research support vessels
- Proven background managing a service team of 5+
- All relevant tickets up to date including WSET 2, along with any other service / butler qualifications
- Career-oriented, passionate professional able to lead the service team and create a harmonious environment onboard
- Exceptional service skills and time management
- Strong guest‑facing service standards (luxury + scientific/mission guests)
- Experience developing SOPs to USPH or equivalent standards
- New build experience a plus, but not essential
- Schengen Visa essential
Start date: April/May
Location: Europe
Salary: EUR TBD
