Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Head Chef for a 60m yacht
This is a great opportunity for an experienced and seasoned Chef to join a very established charter yacht (with some owner use too).
Requirements:
- Previous charter experience essential as Head Chef on 50m-70m yachts
- Schengen visa (if required)
- Culinary trained/qualified
- Ships Cook (although flag exemption DOE and training)
- STCW, ENG1, F&H level 3
- Restaurant background preferred
- Wide range of culinary ability, as well as solid knowledge of dietary and cultural restrictions.
- Well organised, accurate provisioning and budgeting as well as experience working with tight turnarounds.
Open to sole chefs with proven experience stepping up to a larger yacht.
Galley team of head chef and crew/sous chef(full-time). Will work closely with service team during the season.
Must be prepared to get involved in crew food from time to time and when sous/crew chef is on leave.
We are seeking a hands-on, team player, with excellent level of hygiene and cleanliness.
Start date: Mid May
Location: Mediterranean / Spain
Salary: EUR 7500/month
8 weeks on/off rotation
Vessel itinerary: Med summer/Caribbean winter. Busy summer charter season ahead with booked charters
