Burgess Recruitment are currently seeking a Executive Chef for a 100m+ Private/Charter Motor Yacht
We are currently sourcing a Head Chef for a 100m+ motor yacht operating a dual private and charter programme. The Owners are seeking a highly accomplished culinary professional with a strong foundation in health-forward cuisine, particularly Keto and Gluten-Free gastronomy, while maintaining the versatility required for world-class charter service.
This role requires a chef who can deliver refined, beautifully presented dishes that prioritise quality ingredients and balanced nutrition, without overreliance on butter, oil, salt, or sugar.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Advanced expertise in Keto and Gluten-Free cuisine
- Proven ability to produce high-quality keto breads and desserts
- A clean, healthy cooking style with emphasis on premium, seasonal ingredients
- Strong pastry capability within low-carb and gluten-free frameworks
- Versatility across Mediterranean, Asian, modern European and contemporary international cuisines
- Elegant, fine-dining presentation suitable for charter guests
The Owner values creativity within structure. Menus should feel refined, flavour-led, and nutritionally considered.
Operational Expectations
- Seamless execution during both private use and high-demand charter periods
- Ability to manage provisioning globally with strong budget awareness
- Leadership of a professional galley team
- Confidence catering for varied dietary requirements at short notice
- Discretion, flexibility, and a service-driven mindset
Ideal Background
- Previous Head Chef experience on 80m+ yachts or within Michelin-level / ultra-luxury hospitality environments
- Strong charter experience preferred
- Formal culinary training
- Ship’s Cook Certificate, valid STCW & ENG1
