Burgess recruitment is a seeking a Deckhand to join a 85m charter yacht
We are looking for an experienced deckhand to join a team of 6 on a busy private and charter motor yacht.
Requirements:
- All relevant yachting certificates up to date
- At least 1 year’s experience as a Deckhand previously
- PBL2 required, YM Offshore or IYT 200gt limited advantageous
- Confident in general maintenance, painting, varnishing, cleaning and general repair work
- Must have experience in bridge watches, launching and recovering tenders & assisting guests with tender and toys - large tender experience a bonus
- Must be able to actively participate in all training exercises, drills and safety meetings and have an interest to progress in the industry with training towards their next qualification.
- Must have strong work ethic, be a team player and willing to help across departments
- B1/B1 Visa valid and in hand essential plus Schengen visa required.
Start date: 1 November
Location: US
Salary: TBC
Rotation: 4:2, annual bonus plus training scheme
