Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Crew/Sous Chef to join a great team onboard a 60m+ yacht
Requirements & Responsibilities
• Valid F&HL2 STCW, ENG1
• US B1/B2 and Schengen visa in hand
• Previous experience as a crew or sous chef on yachts of 60m+ or similar, with the ability to cook for large crews (up to 19 people).
• Independently prepare meals for up to 19 crew members, ensuring a balanced, nutritious, and delicious menu.
• Cater to various dietary preferences and restrictions, including vegetarian and gluten-free diets.
• Work closely with the owner’s chef or temporary head chef to prepare and serve meals for guests during charters.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized galley at all times.
• Work well with other crew members to ensure smooth service and operational efficiency.
Start date: 3rd week of March (approximate)
Location: Miami
Salary: EUR 5800
Leave: 60 days (: 2 x return flights in economy class)
Private & Charter vessel, itinerary TBC
