Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temporary Crew/Sous Chef for a 60m+ motor yacht.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented chef looking to build their yachting career onboard a prestigious vessel.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training
- Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (FHL2) certification essential
- Confident preparing healthy nutritious meals for crew
- Confident with provisioning, stock control, and inventory management
- Strong organisational skills
- Able to support the Head Chef in the preparation for guests meals
- Schengen visa or EU right to work required
Start date: 20 September (Europe)
End date: 30 November (Bahamas)
Location: Europe
Salary: EUR 6000
Leave: 38 days
Itinerary: Join in France, small stop in Tarragona before heading to the Bahamas where there will be weekend trips with owner throughout November. Crew Food for the most part, with some assistance for the head chef when guests are onboard
