Burgess recruitment is urgently seeking a Crew Chef for a 100m+ motor yacht
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Crew Chef to join a busy, prestigious yacht
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years as Crew Chef on board similar sized yachts
- STCW, ENG1, FHS Level 3 & Ship’s Cook Certificate essential
- Able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the galley and storerooms
- Provide balanced and nutritious menus and diet for the crew
- Ensure proper care, control and use of dry and refrigerated stores
- Able to maintain accurate inventories of catering stores and provisions
- Experience in maintaining stock levels and minimise waste, encourage economical use of the vessels provisions.
- Ensure that compliance with food safety and hygiene are adhered to at all times
- Able to work long hours during busy periods while maintaining quality and team morale
- Excellent time and kitchen management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Schengen visa/right to work required
Start date: ASAP
Location: Europe
Salary: 5000 EUR
Leave: 90 days
Vessel & itinerary: Private – Summer Med cruising
