Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Steward(ess) for a 40m motor yacht.

Requirements:
- STCW, ENG 1, FH level 2/3 essential and up to date
- Previous experience as Chief Steward(ess) on similar sized or larger vessels
- Must have fluent Chinese language skills to help with communication between Captain and owners
- Confident across all areas of the interior, including service, housekeeping, wine knowledge and bartending
- Competent in interior administration, including provisioning, inventory, and daily team coordination.
- Comfortable handling guest requests, making reservations, and managing bookings with professionalism and attention to detail
- A great leader who supports junior crew and maintains high standards across all interior operations
- Schengen visa required.
Start date: ASAP
Location: France
Salary: EUR 5000
Leave: 42 days
Vessel Program and itinerary: Private/charter – dual season. Summer Med & Caribbean winter.
