Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Rotational Chief Steward(ess) for a 100m+ private/charter motor yacht.
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in the yachting industry
- Chief steward(ess) experience on vessels over 70m
- Demonstrated longevity preferred (ideally two or more years on one vessel)
- STCW, ENG1, PDSD, Food Hygiene Level 2
- Schengen visa and B1/B2
- Strong, confident leadership style
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a large interior team
- Strong wine and cocktail knowledge highly beneficial
- Creative flair with a refined eye
- Comfortable with some admin duties and working closely to support the purser
- Able to provide excellent references

Start date: Flexible
Salary: DOE EUR
Package: 2 months on and off
Itinerary: Mediterranean summers with a mix of owner and charter use. Winter plans to be confirmed
