Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Officer for a 50m+ motor yacht.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chief Officer to join a busy charter yacht.
Requirements
- MCA Chief Mate 3000 GRT Essential
- Must have Ship Security officer ticket, ISM certification & PWC Instructor
- Malta CEC preferred
- Previous experience on 40m+ motor yachts
- Confident in passage planning, bridge watchkeeping, and Mediterranean port operations
- Proven high deck and exterior standards
- Strong tender driver with proven guest interaction experience
- Comfortable in a structured and detail-focused management environment
- Positive, proactive attitude with good crew leadership presence
- Schengen Visa required
Start date: Mid August
Location: Europe
Salary: EUR 7500 DOE (5% annual increase)
Leave: 90 days
Flights: 3 return Premium economy (long haul) or economy (short haul)
Training allowance: Course and associated agreed costs reimbursed on a 1/12th basis for 1 year after successful completion of the course
Program & Itinerary: Charter – Single med season, Med based
