Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Chef/Steward(ess) for a 35m Private New Build Motor yacht
This position will be a hybrid role with 80% cooking and 20% Interior steward(ess) duties.
Requirements:
• Valid F&HL3 STCW, ENG1, and other relevant certifications.
• Ideally 2 years experience
• A strong understanding of yacht galley operations
• Ability to work efficiently and independently, maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt to varying schedules.
• SCHENGEN visa or equivalent
• New build experience a bonus
• Able to provide two verbal references
Responsibilities:
• Ability to produce healthy and nutritious meals for guests and crew
• 80% cooking, 20% Steward(ess) duties
• Healthy Mediterranean style, Asians and vegetarian dishes
• Allergen awareness as the owners are gluten intolerance
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring cleanliness in the galley.
• Help out in other departments when required
• Budget and provision independently
Start: August
Location: Italy
Salary: DOE
Vessel itinerary & location- New build vessel. Approximately 4-6 weeks cruising in the Med.
