Master 500gt or Master 3000gt CoC
Requirements
- Previous Captain experience on 40m–50m yachts
- Demonstrated longevity and stability in previous roles
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
- Hands-on operational approach and willingness to support all aspects of the yacht’s operation
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Professional, discreet, and adaptable when working closely with owners and family
- B1/B2 visa in hand or ability to obtain

This is a private yacht programme operating primarily in the Caribbean.
The successful candidate will initially take command of a 40m private motor yacht, leading a dedicated crew team and supporting the owner and family in a private programme.
The owner is seeking an engaged and operationally involved Captain who leads by example and enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the vessel.
This is intended to be a long-term appointment. The owner is currently developing a new 70m yacht which is under construction, and the successful candidate will be expected to transition into the Captain role for this vessel as the programme evolves.
During periods when the yacht is not in use, the Captain may also be involved in aspects of planning and coordination relating to the new build project.
The yacht operates privately and does not charter. Crew receive regular performance bonuses in lieu of charter gratuities.
