Bosun - Europe

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Bosun for a 70m yacht   

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bosun to join a dynamic team onboard a prestigious yacht. If you have a passion for the yachting industry and are looking to further your career, this is a fantastic opportunity for you. 

Requirements: 

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience working on yachts. 

• Qualifications: Yachtmaster ticket (CE certified) 

• Skills: 

• Proficient in tender driving and familiar with its operations. 

• Strong watersports skills (instruction or participation experience preferred). 

• Excellent yacht maintenance skills with a hands-on approach. 

• Additional: 

• Charter experience is beneficial but not mandatory. 

• Must be a team player, as you will be working alongside a team 

Responsibilities: 

• Overseeing the general upkeep and maintenance of the yacht's deck. 

• Safely handling the yacht's tender and watersports equipment. 

• Assisting with guest activities during charters, including watersports. 

• Collaborating closely with other deckhands and ensuring teamwork in daily operations. 

• Supporting the deck team and assisting with crew leadership. 

Start date:  Immediate

Location:   Europe

Salary:   EUR 4500

Leave:   90 days

Structured training and development program in place  

Private/Charter vessel with charters booked for the summer season.-Vessel will be in the med for the summer, with a short yard period at the end of the season, before heading off on a world cruise (dates/locations tbc)
