Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a 2nd Officer for an 100m+ motor yacht
We are looking for a hardworking, motivated individual with previous experience on similar-sized vessels.
Requirements
- Valid STCW & ENG1
- Valid OOW unlimited and GMDSS certification
- Proven experience in navigation and safety management on 100m+
superyachts
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to train and mentor crew effectively
- Schengen visa or EU right to work
Job description
- Navigation watchkeeping and voyage performance duties
- Passage planning and GMDSS/radio operations
- Acting Safety Officer (safety meetings & compliance)
- Crew training in safety and deck procedures
- Assisting Bosun with deck crew operations and training
Start date: ASAP
Location: Europe
Salary: 5500 EUR - DOE
Leave: 2:2 rotation
Vessel Program and itinerary: Private - Dual season (Med summer)
