2nd Officer - Europe

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a 2nd Officer for a 70m yacht   

We are seeking a 2nd Officer to join a 70m private yacht. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong deck skills and natural leadership skills

Will consider Bosuns wanting to step up.

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist with navigation, watchkeeping, and safety operations aboard the yacht. 

• Oversee and supervise the deck crew in maintaining the yacht's deck operations. 

• Ensure the yacht is kept in pristine condition, adhering to safety standards and regulations. 

• Manage deck inventory, maintenance, and equipment checks. 

• Assist with crew training and development. 

• Support the Captain and senior officers in daily operations and long-term planning. 

Required Qualifications 

**must hold a b1b2 visa**

• Strong deck and navigational skills. 

• OOW required

• Valid ENG1 medical certificate. 

• Some Experience with bridge equipment and yacht systems.   

Start date: Immediate

Location: Med- Crossing to the Caribbean

Salary:  EUR 6000 -13 month bonus(non contractual)

Leave: 42 days leave p.a.

Private Dual season vessel.
