Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a 2nd Engineer for a 70m yacht
We are seeking a professional and experienced Second Engineer to join a private/charter superyacht.
Requirements:
- 2nd Engineer Unlimited CoC preferably
- Proven experience on similar-sized vessel is required & must demonstrate proven longevity in previous roles.
- Must have a strong technical background.
- Strong teamwork skills, work ethic and proactive with a hands-on approach.
- Able to assist the Chief Engineer with the maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of the vessel’s machinery and engineering systems.
- Quickly adapt and learn new systems and procedures.
- Schengen visa required
Start date: Around 1 November
Location: Europe
Salary: EUR 7000 DOE
Leave: 10:10 (weeks)
Itinerary: Private & Charter - single med season. Shipyard period likely in South of France but TBC
