Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Officer for an 100m+ Charter motor yacht
We are looking for a hardworking, motivated individual with previous experience on similar-sized vessels in a leadership role.
Requirements
- Valid STCW & ENG1
- Valid Chief Mate unlimited(CoC)
- Extensive leadership experience within the deck department on large yachts
- Strong working knowledge of ISM procedures, safety management, and advanced navigation systems
- Schengen visa or EU right to work
Job description
- Overall management and supervision of the Deck Department
- Navigation watchkeeping, passage planning, and voyage preparation
- Safety, LSA/FFA equipment maintenance, and compliance with ISM/pollution policies
- Stability calculations and vessel readiness
- Reporting defects and ensuring seaworthiness
- Training and supervising junior officers
Start date: ASAP
Location: Europe
Salary: 9500 EUR
Leave: 2:2 rotation
Vessel Program and itinerary: Private - Dual season (Med summer)
